Ancient Athens comes to life
Last Saturday I stood under a stellar Athenian sky and absorbed a virgin view of the Parthenon. The Temple of Athena Parthenos â€" to give the Parthenon its full title â€" has become a symbol around the globe of a certain kind of civilisation.
